I was trying to change my background and I must have really messed up! I think I erased all of my page elements (title, blog lists, etc.). When I have more time I will try to fix it! Naptime is too precious to spend on the computer!!!!!
Wish me luck!

2 months and My Big Boy
My big boy hanging out in Edward's swing.
Edward loves to sit in his bouncy seat when William isn't already in it!!!!!!
Big smiles!!!! That is William "helping" him swing. Yikes! Hold on, Edward!!!Well, Edward is now 2 months old! William is ALWAYS in Edward's face, but he seems to love it! Edward grins more at William than anyone else in the family!
As far as size, Edward weighed almost exactly what William weighed at 2 months. (12 lbs, 12 oz). He had a great check up from the doctor. He is still getting up once a night to eat, but I'm hoping that will end soon.
William is also doing great. He started back to school last week and we are all so happy about that! He calls himself a 'big boy" and John and I laugh because he still has a paci and blankie. He also still wears diapers and sleeps in a crib. BUT, we still call him a big boy. He is getting all geared up for his birthday next month.

Another pictureless post!!!
I need some blogger help!!! Here are my problems:
1. Even when I can upload photos, I can only do 5 on each post. Can someone help with this? I see blogs that have lots of pictures on each post.
2. When the pictures are added, they are usually out of order. I just can't seem to figure out how to rearrange them!
3. This is not really a problem, but I would like to add the feature that lets you see who is viewing your blog. I think it is "live feed" or something like that. I am always curious to know who is reading!
I hope someone can help!!!

Christmas in Birmingham

We had our family Christmas a few days early since we were heading to Florence. Santa was happy to accomodate our busy schedule. William made cookies and he loved eating the sprinkles off of every one! William got a train table from Santa and lots of train accessories from Mommy and Daddy. Edward, well, he got some new pacis and a teething toy.
After opening gifts, John and William went outside to rake leaves. Our yard has some massive oak trees, so they had lots of work to do!!! It was very cold outside, but William loved spending time outdoors with Daddy.

Too much time at home.......
Building a bird feeder! It was either build a bird feeder or read the Foot and Ankle book behind William. We chose the craft.
Ok, talk about being inside for too long..... this is William with pigtails!!!! I couldn't resist!
Cleaning up some of the spilled birdseed. Maybe reading John's book would have been the smarter choice!
Hanging the birdfeeders outside.
William trying to catch the birdfeeder. We have been spending most of our days (and nights) at home lately. Today, William and I were both getting very stir crazy, so I decided to do a little craft. Not a very smart thing to do with a 22 month old and a nursing infant!!!! But, I gathered the supplies and set out to make a bird feeder. (thanks to Jamie Grizzle for the idea) Everything was going great until I went to check on Edward in the nursery. When I got back, William had dumped birdseed ALL OVER the kitchen floor. Yes, we did the craft inside because it was so wet and gross outside. Now, it is naptime and I will be spending most of it sweeping up birdseed. We did have a great time, but I will not be attempting another activity until another adult is present. Enjoy the pictures!

Brothers
William gets so excited when he gets to hold Edward!
If I put Edward down, William is always close behind! And, yes, Edward loves to be swaddled!
William pointing out Edward's eye.
I finally caught a smile on camera!!!!!
Poor Edward! He always looks so uncomfortable in William's arms! I can't imagine why.......I thought I would post some pictures of the boys. William always wants to hold Edward. He says, "I hold, I hold" until I give in! Once I get them situated, William wants me to take a picture. He smiles nicely for the picture, and then he starts pointing to Edward, identifying his features. He will point out Edward's hair, ears, eyes, fingers, etc.. He comes dangerously close to poking Edward's eye out!!!! William is also always on "paci patrol". If Edward makes even the slightest sound, William is on the case, finding the paci and shoving it in Edward's mouth. Poor Edward. He doesn't even cry--he just lets William cram the paci until he finally takes it.
Edward is such a good baby so far! He gets up once a night and goes right back to sleep after eating. During the day, he still mainly sleeps. When he is awake, he seems pretty content. He has gotten a bit fussy this past week, but nothing like William was at this age. He started smiling a couple of weeks ago, and now, the smiles are becoming more frequent. William gets the most smiles out of Edward! That's probably because William is always in Edward's face!!!
Overall, William has adjusted very well to having a little brother. I know they will be big buddies one day! That is, if Edward survives!!!! :)
More Holiday Fun
William and John checking out the llama. This was at the zoo, not the live nativity!
Baby Charlie and William. They are big buddies!
Here we are FREEZING at the zoolight safari!
More animals to see......
William riding in the monster double stroller!!!!We are really getting into the Christmas spirit at our house! This week, we went to a walk-through nativity at a local church. We took William last year, and he loved the animals, so we went back this year. Well, let me tell you, it was FREEZING!!!!!! We moved very quickly through all the scenes. William did enjoy seeing the goats, sheep, and camel. We went with our friends Adam and Karen and their little baby, Charlie. William loves "Char Char"!
Then, last night, we headed to the Zoolight Safari. Once again, FREEZING!!!!!! We used the double stroller and kept Edward completely covered under 3 blankets. He stayed nice and toasty, but the rest of us weren't so comfortable. We rode the train and William loved seeing Santa. They also had a petting zoo/barn with animals for William to see.
Tonight, the boys and I are stayed in and John headed out to his work Christmas party. He needed somthing to cheer him up after hearing of the new Auburn football coach!!!! William and I made some Christmas cookies complete with icing and sprinkles. I'm pretty sure William only ate cookies for supper. No wonder it took him 45 minutes to fall asleep!!
