William has a new show he loves to watch on t.v. Team Umizoomi is a big hit at our house. I'm so glad he has moved on from Dora--so tired of that show!!!!!

This show seems to be fairly educational and the best part: it comes on when Edward is taking a morning nap, so I have 20 minutes to myself! Woo hoo!

Monday Morning

So, here are the boys early this morning. I took some better pictures,but my computer wouldn't upload them. I'll try again later!

Sickies!

Well, we have all been sick lately!!!!! The boys got a cold a couple of weeks ago, lots of coughing and runny noses. Last weekend, Edward developed his first ear infection! I took both boys to the doctor and had William checked out, too. Today is Edward's last day of antibiotics and he seems to be back to his old self!

Well, Monday morning, William woke up saying his neck hurt (that would be his throat) and his ear was also hurting. John took a look in his ear and said it was VERY red. No fever, so I didn't take him in that day. I just pumped him full of tylenol and he was fine. He went to school yesterday, again no fever, feeling fine, etc... John looked in his ear again last night and now it's still very red and there is fluid draining from the tube. SO..... we are heading back to the doctor this afternoon.

Oh, and John and I both got the cold so we are also congested and feeling kind of yucky. Fun times!!!!!! I agree with everyone else: so ready for warmer weather!!!!!!

William turned 3 Sunday, so we had a Fiesta birthday party and a Super Bowl party all wrapped into one night! Our small group from church plus some other good friends came over to watch the game and celebrate the big birthday.

The highlight of the party was definitely the red chili pinata. All of the kids took turns trying to break it, but finally, the dads had to step in and finish it off! That was one tough pinata!!!!! Notice there are no pictures of Edward--he wasn't feeling well at all and we put him to bed soon after the party started. Turns out he has a double ear infection!!! :(

Birthday Money

So, William got $30 dollars from family for his birthday and he wanted to go pick out a toy. We went to Target today and let me just say this was hilarious!!! He wandered up and down the aisles, picking up every toy, looking it over, putting it back, etc.......

I tried to convince him to get some new books for his Tag, Jr. game, but that was not happening! He finally picked a Hot Wheels track thingy and a T-Rex that his cousin, Whitt, had at Christmas. His grand total was $26.65. He put his change in his pocket and as soon as we got back in the car, he asked, "Hey, where's all my money?". Well, well. Teachable moment right there, but, of course, he didn't get it AT ALL!!!! I told him he still had $3, but he still didn't understand it.

Happy 3rd Birthday, sweet William!!!! The party is Sunday--- we will post lots of pictures!!!

More Snow!

We woke up to more snow this morning! It actually snowed all day yesterday, but it didn't stick, so we were surprised to find snow on the ground!!! Of course, this means no preschool for William and I might just go CRAZY with another day at home! It will probably all melt by afternoon, so we will enjoy it while it lasts!
