Today is our 5th anniversary! We got so tickled thinking back to how our celebrations have changed each year. Here goes:
1st anniversary: we went to Hawaii. One of my favorite vacations EVER!!!!
2nd anniversary: William was 6 weeks old. It's all fuzzy, but we probably just stayed home and watched March Madness!
3rd anniversary: William was 13 months old and Edward was on the way!!!! I think we went out to eat.
4th anniversary: We were getting our house ready to sell. Mom probably kept the boys while we went out to eat.
5th anniversary: Baby #3 on the way! We are going out to eat AND..... get ready and don't be jealous...... test drive some minivans. Woohoo!!!!!
What a progression. From Hawaii to minivans. Hilarious!!!!!! I'm just excited to be getting out of the house without kids!!!!

Durango
This is a shot of
the town of Silverton from the road above.
The boys goofing off before heading to daycare/ski school.
We went back to Durango this past weekend for our last ski trip of the season! John had a long weekend, so we decided to get out of town and experience ANOTHER adventure out west! The other fellow at John's work also decided to take his family, so all 9 of us piled into one condo for the weekend. It worked out great since they have 3 little girls right around our boys' ages. William had constant playmates! Of course, I didn't get to ski, so Edward and I enjoyed the condo while the others skiied their little hearts out! William did daycare/ski school which works out great for him since he can't handle skiing all day! He loves the childcare room and even took a nap for them!
We took a roadtrip to Silverton one day. The drive was absolutely gorgeous!!!!! The town itself was not so great. Since it was winter, their museums were closed, but we found a walking tour of old saloons and we also ate at a great cafe for lunch. The boys were actually very good and the locals enjoyed seeing some little ones on such a slow day in Silverton.
John and William also tried out the tubing after skiing one day. William called his tube a "doughnut". John said William loved it!!!!
We headed back Sunday and it was a good thing because TONS of spring breakers were heading in for the week. We stopped by the mountain on our way out of town and it was crazy busy!!! We picked a good day to leave! When we got back to Albuquerque, we had more snow here! Of course, it was beautiful, but gone quickly. I'm getting ready for some spring weather!!!!!
This week is William's spring break, so we are home all week. I'm hoping the weather warms up so we can spend it outside!

Meet Milly, Geo and Bot: William's New Friends!!!
William has a new show he loves to watch on t.v. Team Umizoomi is a big hit at our house. I'm so glad he has moved on from Dora--so tired of that show!!!!!
This show seems to be fairly educational and the best part: it comes on when Edward is taking a morning nap, so I have 20 minutes to myself! Woo hoo!

Sickies!
Well, we have all been sick lately!!!!! The boys got a cold a couple of weeks ago, lots of coughing and runny noses. Last weekend, Edward developed his first ear infection! I took both boys to the doctor and had William checked out, too. Today is Edward's last day of antibiotics and he seems to be back to his old self!
Well, Monday morning, William woke up saying his neck hurt (that would be his throat) and his ear was also hurting. John took a look in his ear and said it was VERY red. No fever, so I didn't take him in that day. I just pumped him full of tylenol and he was fine. He went to school yesterday, again no fever, feeling fine, etc... John looked in his ear again last night and now it's still very red and there is fluid draining from the tube. SO..... we are heading back to the doctor this afternoon.
Oh, and John and I both got the cold so we are also congested and feeling kind of yucky. Fun times!!!!!! I agree with everyone else: so ready for warmer weather!!!!!!
