Today my baby turns 1!!! Edward was born November 5, 2008 at 10:46 a.m. and weighed 7 pounds, 15 ounces. Just a quick one year update:

Edward now weighs about 23 pounds. I don't know how tall he is, but I can tell you his is taller than William was at one year. This boy is going to be tall like his daddy. He also looks a lot like John's baby pictures.

He is walking all over the place!!! He loves to follow William everywhere, even to the bathroom! He eats pretty much whatever we are eating. He always hated baby food, so he has been eating table food for awhile. Loves any kind of fruit, especially grapes and bananas. He also really likes chick-fil-a. Don't we all!

Edward is a man of few words, kind of like his brother was at this age. Lots of pointing and grunting, but not many actual words. He says mama, dada, bye bye, and thank you. He can wave, do patty cake and make an awesome fish mouth. I'll try to get that photographed--it's pretty cute.

We are having the big birthday bash Saturday night, so I will post more pictures then! Poor thing only has THREE birthday outfits to wear (ha, ha), so he is modeling one today, one tomorrow, and one for the party. Two of the three outfits were William's. Edward is used to wearing lots of hand-me-downs.

What a fun year this has been!!! Now on to the toddler times with two little ones!!!

Halloween!

William and Edward had a great time trick-or-treating this year. William was an Indian and Edward was a horse. Thanks to Papaw and Lesa for the costumes! William got lots of candy and I have already hidden most of it! He would eat every piece all at once if I let him! We had a party with our church small group and there were so many kids!!!!! I put more pictures on my Facebook account. Enjoy!

This weekend, Dad, Lesa, and "big" Edward came to visit. We had lots of fun!Lesa and John managed to stay out of all the pictures!!! We rode the tram to Sandia Peak. The temperature at the top was 28 and the wind was very blustery!!! We ate lunch and enjoyed the view! The rest of the time, we just played around at home. The boys really enjoyed the company. Big Edward was a hit with both boys. Papaw and Lesa brought lots of goodies for the boys. William loved the candy the best! He also loved his Indian costume! We had a great visit and we can't wait to see them again for Christmas!!!!

New Running Equipment!

I've found a new running buddy and we are so excited to be back into the morning workout scene! The problem is that it is still VERY dark when we run, so we went and got headlamps to wear. Yes, like a coal miner. Hilarious, but it works great!!!! I'm hiding it from William because I know he would take it and I would never see it again!

The other necessity on our morning runs is a starbucks drink when we finish! We park in the Starbucks parking lot and I will tell you I am so excited when we are done so we can get our little treat! I don't even drink coffee, but I am getting hooked on the skinny lattes!!! I've tried the vanilla and can't wait for Friday when I'm going to try the caramel!!!

Well, Edward has been getting some new teeth and I thought I would share the pics! No wonder he has been a bit cranky lately!!!! He is also walking more and more every day. He still chooses to crawl most of the time, but it won't be long! He is also mostly off of the bottle. I still give him one when all the sippy cups are dirty. :(

Divided Household!

Next year, he can be the Razorback!!

So, this is the one day a year that John and I cheer against each other in football. It's a bitter sweet day in our household. I decided to be fair and put the boys in opposing school jerseys. William chose Razorbacks, so Edward got to wear his Auburn jersey. Now, of course, I didn't get to see much of the game because I was trying to entertain the boys. They don't play well together yet, so I'm always pulling Edward off of William's toys.

I'm very proud of my Razorbacks, but I will say that I would much rather get a win over Alabama, not Auburn. Oh, well. Tomorrow, I will be an Auburn fan again, at least until next October rolls around!!!!
